Storm Information

There is a Winter Storm Warning in effect for our area beginning tomorrow morning (Wednesday March 21) and into Thursday (March 22) with 6 to 10 inches of snow forecasted and expected North East winds 20 to 30 MPH with gusts up to 50 MPH. Please be sure to plan ahead and take necessary precautions.

The SKPD has placed a parking ban in effect as of 7am on Wednesday morning and continuing until further notice. During the storm, we are asking residents to stay off the roads, and allow the plow drivers to work. Please only travel if necessary, use extreme caution, and keep your distance from plows and sanding trucks.

To report downed power lines in the roadway or downed trees in power lines - contact National Grid 1-800-465-1212

To report downed trees in the roadway - call SKPD Dispatch 783-3321 (NOTE - if downed trees are in power lines, please contact National Grid, the Town cannot work on trees in power lines)
