Tuckertown Park

The Town of South Kingstown purchased the land for Tuckertown Park in 1988 to construct a community park. The park was constructed from 1990-92 with partial funding from a Recreation Development Grant from the RI Department of Environmental Management. The park contains two Little League fields, large open green space that can accommodate up to five soccer fields, picnic shelter, playground, two tennis courts, basketball court, nature trail, and parking. The South Kingstown Little League constructed a concession stand in 1994-95.

Directions


From Points West


  1. Take I 95, Exit 3
  2. Route 138 east about 10 miles to first traffic light
  3. Take Route 110 south 3 miles to flashing light
  4. Turn left onto Tuckertown Road
  5. Park will be 1,000 feet straight ahead on your right

From Points North


  1. Take Route I 95 South to Exit 9 which will be Route 4 (left hand exit)
  2. Route 4 will merge and become Route 1
  3. Follow Route 1 to Route 110 North Exit
  4. Take right on Tuckertown Park Rd. (yellow blinking light)
  5. 1,000 feet to park entrance on your right

From Points South


  1. Take I 95 North to Exit 92, right at end of exit
  2. Follow this road until you see Route 78 on your right (about 1 mile)
  3. Take Route 78 to the end, take a left hand turn onto Rt. 1 (you will see Stop and Shop to your left)
  4. Follow Route 1 for about 20 minutes until you see sign for Route 110 North, which will be a left hand exit
  5. You must turn left to get to 110 North exit in a legal U-Turn lane
  6. Take exit Route 110 North
  7. Take right on Tuckertown Park Road (yellow blinking light)
  8. 1,000 feet to park entrance on your right
