The Community Resource Bureau within the South Kingstown Police Department is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and enacting initiatives and events to promote positive interactions between the police department and the community. The Community Resource Bureau consists of the following programs and responsibilities:

• Traffic Division
• School Resource Office
• Behavioral Health Liaison 
• Elderly Affairs 
• Seasonal Bicycle Patrol Unit
• Citizens Police Academy
• Seasonal Community Service Officer Internship
• University of Rhode Island Liaison

The Community Resource Division coordinates directly with the Captain of Operations to maintain the highest standard of public service to meet the needs of our community.
