Current Opportunities
The South Kingstown Town Council has approved a substantial amount of funding that may be used to fund private and non-profit agencies that can help fulfill categorical and service delivery goals. Over the course of the next several years the Town will be making grant opportunities available. Current opportunities are listed below. This list will be updated as funding opportunities become available:

Human Service and Outside Agency Grant | $425,000 | Application Period is now closed | Funding to support local non-profit agencies that provide access to programs, support services, projects, and other initiatives that extend beyond the traditional offerings municipal government can, or will, provide to South Kingstown residents. Eligible agencies include non-profit groups that support residents who are low income, elderly, living with disabilities, or experiencing other life challenges as well as neighborhood and/or village associations, veterans groups, business support organizations, preservation groups, museums, and similar entities that are supported in whole, or in part, by public funds and volunteer contributions. |
Affordable Housing Grant |
$375,000 | Application Period is now closed | Funding to support investments in the creation of new affordable housing in South Kingstown. The Town is seeking proposals from qualified builders, contractors, developers and non-profit organizations for one or more projects that will result in the creation of deed-restricted, multi-unit, affordable housing that satisfies the requirements of both this RFP and the R.I. Low and Moderate Income Housing Act, R.I.G.L. ch. 45-53. |
