Pickleball Advisory Committee

The South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Department’s Pickleball Advisory Committee consists of community members or players representing a cross-section of the Town’s pickleball community. The committee serves in an advisory capacity to Parks and Recreation Department staff. Members will serve for a two-year term beginning in February 2024. PAC will consist of 5 members:

We are currently accepting applications for the 2024-2026 Pickleball Advisory Committee! If you are interested in applying to be on the PAC click here to fill out an application. Please submit your application no later than December 22nd to be considered. Applications can be emailed to Taylor Lynch, tlynch@southkingstownri.gov, or dropped off at the Rec Center or the Neighborhood Guild front desk. 

PAC meetings will be scheduled as needed with a minimum of 4 meetings taking place throughout the year (pre-season, spring, summer, and fall).

Committee Responsibilities

  1. Provide input to staff on the development and operational policies and procedures of the various pickleball programs, leagues, and events.
  2. Provide input to staff on permitting of outdoor facilities to ensure equitable use
  3. Provide input to staff on pickleball facilities – short and long-term development
  4. Act as an arbitrating board in the resolution of disputes
