The Patrol Bureau consists of all uniform members of the department. Members assigned to the Patrol Bureau are assigned to one of two squads and work twelve-hour shifts.
Detectives are responsible for assisting the Patrol Bureau and following up on criminal cases as well as conducting proactive criminal investigations.
Community Resource Bureau
The Community Resource Division is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and enacting initiatives and events to promote positive interactions between the police department and the community.
Accreditation and Training Bureau
The Prosecution Bureau presents cases on behalf of the department to the appropriate court, Department of Attorney General, or referral to other agencies.
Civilian dispatchers receive emergency and routine calls for service and dispatch necessary services for the Police Department, Emergency Medical Services, and Volunteer Fire Departments.
