Amount of Tax Credit
Qualifying applicants receive a $565 tax credit toward taxes on their dwelling or motor vehicle.
How to Qualify
- South Kingstown must be the applicant's legal and primary residence.
- Applicant must complete a Veteran's Exemption Application and also provide a letter from the Veteran's Administration indicating the applicant was a Prisoner of War.
- The deadline to file an application is 5 days prior to the certification of the tax roll of any given year.
