Risk Management

Mission Statement

Risk Management personnel are tasked with defining, approving and monitoring the Town’s insurance requirements in conjunction with vendors conducting business with the Town and for citizen-sponsored events. Personnel of this division work to ensure that claims for damages against the Town are handled promptly and efficiently. Much of the Town’s liability coverage is provided through an intergovernmental insurance risk-sharing pool, The RI Interlocal Risk Management Trust.
